• Description: Friday Night Live for high schoolers and Club Live for middle schoolers are peer programs led by the youth that incorporate alternative activities, community development and leadership training among its participants. Impact Mentoring is a peer mentoring program that fosters supportive relationships between high school and junior high school students in an effort to increase peer association, social and personal competence and help the transition from junior high to high school. Butte County Youth Nexus is a youth council that addresses significant issues and builds young people as leaders among their peers. Youth Nexus funds youth-initiated projects to help local communities.
